Trainee gardaí attacked in Templemore
Three trainee gardaí were hospitalised last night after they were attacked by a gang of youths in Templemore, Co Tipperary.
Gardai said the youths assaulted five trainee officers in the Mall area of the town at around 10.30pm.
Three men are due to appear in court today in connection with the attack, while a fourth who was also arrested was released on bail last night.
