Five Irish in European Citizen's Summit
A European Citizen's Summit is taking place in Brussels today.
Five Irish people are among 150 citizens taking part in the event.
They will meet with top EU policy makers to discuss their recommendations for action to tackle the economic and social challenges facing Europe.
Participants will agree upon 15 key issues, which they will present to European leaders tomorrow.
The Irish participants hail from Cork, Monaghan, Kildare and Dublin.
