The Ulster senior football championship will be decided today at Clones when Tyrone take on Cavan.
Cavan have failed to repeat the heroics that brought them an Ulster title in 1997 but a relatively easy draw in this year's championship has allowed them to boost their confidence.
Today's game will be their toughest test yet.
Tyrone have blended a team of youth and experience from the heroes of previous years with the stars of the under-21 team which won the All-Ireland title
last year.
Tyrone have also had to overcome the more difficult opponents of the two finalists, beating Derry and Armagh on their way to the final.
With the considerable attacking skills of Peter Canavan on display for Tyrone,
they have been made the slight favourites for today's game but it is likely to be a close run match.
The kick-off this afternoon at Clones is at 2.30pm.
