Monaghan take on St Mary's College and Donegal face off against All-Ireland semi-finalists Fermanagh in Section C of the Dr McKenna Cup today.

Two debutants feature in new Monaghan boss Seamus McEnaney's side ahead of today's meeting with St Mary's at Clones.

Magheraclone's James Ward and Inniskeen's Fergal Duffy are the only newcomers named on the experienced team to face the Belfast college.

Duffy takes his place at midfield while Ward is named in the half-back line.

Meanwhile, in the other clash, Fermanagh are boosted by the return of Rory and Raymie Gallagher for their visit to Ballyshannon to face Donegal.

The Ernesiders have been hit by injury and are without corner-forward Colm Bradley, who is sidelined with a back injury, and All Star full-back Barry Owens, who is recovering from a groin operation.

Ryan McCluskey and James Sherry are also ruled out.

However, the Gallagher cousins, who missed the championship run to the semi-finals, are set to return to the Fermanagh colours. The pair opted out of the panel last year, but have attended training in recent weeks.

Fermanagh boss Charlie Mulgrew has confirmed they were part of the squad.

He added that all the injured players would be recovered in time for the beginning of the National Football League in February.

MONAGHAN (SF v St Mary's College): S Duffy; G McQuaid, J Coyle, C Flanagan; J Ward, D Clerkin, JP Mone; J McElroy, F Duffy; D Freeman, T Freeman, D McArdle; S McManus, R Woods, N Corrigan.
