Wolves have signed former Wimbledon keeper Ian Feuer on a non-contract basis.

The 6ft 6ins American, who has also played for Luton and West Ham, could make his debut against Reading at Molineux on Saturday after first-choice keeper Michael Oakes was revealed to be suffering from a shoulder injury.

Wolves boss Dave Jones, who has seen his leaky defence concede 11 goals in their last four games, told the club‘s official website, www.wolves.co.uk: “We‘re pleased to have Ian in as cover whilst Mike is injured.

“He‘s here for a week and it‘s an opportunity for him to stake a claim.”
