Two still critical after Co Tipperary road accident

A truck driver and a five-year-old boy remain in a serious condition in hospital today after being injured in a horrific road accident in Co Tipperary yesterday.

A truck driver and a five-year-old boy remain in a serious condition in hospital today after being injured in a horrific road accident in Co Tipperary yesterday.

The boy’s brother, his mother, his aunt and his grandmother were all killed in the crash near Cahir, which involved four trucks and a car.

A second lorry driver was also injured, but he is expected to be discharged from hospital today.

The accident happened on the main road between Dublin and Cork yesterday morning.
