Dungannon Swifts 0 Drogheda United 4
Skipper Declan O'Brien capped his return from an eleven-month injury absence with the final goal as Drogheda cruised to victory over an abject Dungannon at Stangmore Park to move top of Setanta Sports Cup Group 1 on goal difference.
Drogheda had the perfect start on four minutes with an excellent opening goal.
Paul Keegan threaded a superb ball through for Tony Grant who slid in to fire past keeper Dwayne Nelson.
Drogheda added a second goal ten minutes before the break when Graham Gartland tapped home after fellow defender Jason Gavin knocked down Joe Kendrick's free-kick from the left.
Adam McMinn turned the ball into his own net on 65 minutes to gift Drogheda their third goal before substitute O'Brien struck on 85 minutes.
Richie Baker did well to cross in from the right and O'Brien controlled the ball well to steer it past Nelson.
