Philippe Lima came from three shots behind overnight to win the Aa St Omer Open in his native France today.
It was his second successive victory on the Challenge Tour but more importantly it gives him a one-year exemption to the European Tour.
Lima kept his nerve to post a five-under-par 66 to finish on 279. That gave him a one-shot advantage over the unfortunate Alessandro Tadini of Italy.
Tadini looked to be heading for a play-off with Lima but he three-putted the last.
He knocked the ball four feet past the hole and missed the return to give Lima - winner in Spain last week – a memorable victory.
