Dylan Thomas spearheads Aidan O’Brien’s three runners in the Juddmonte International at York on Tuesday.
Last month’s King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes hero will be joined in the extended 10-furlong showpiece by stablemates Duke Of Marmalade and Song Of Hiawatha.
Following the final declaration stage, at which a total of seven horses stood their ground, O’Brien’s George Washington was the most notable of those to defect.
His absence still leaves a quality field, as Coral-Eclipse first and second Notnowcato and Authorized lock horns once again.
The former secured his first top-flight success in this coveted prize 12 months ago, while the latter bids to reverse Sandown form on his return to the Knavesmire.
Clive Brittain’s Hattan will also take his chance along with the Mike de Kock-trained Asiatic Boy.
The South African raider will be making his second appearance on a British racecourse after finishing an encouraging fourth in the Sussex Stakes last time.
