Big Brother audition tapes "missing"
The original audition tapes of Big Brother housemates Helen and Josh have gone missing.
Producers of the Channel 4 show fear the homemade tapes may have been stolen.
The tapes are supposed to be shown in full on the new Big Brother: Uncut 2 video.
They were submitted by the contestants in January.
A Big Brother spokeswoman said the producers are desperate to find the tapes to make the video complete.
"The original audition tapes are great," she says.
Big Brother: Uncut 2 is released on video and DVD on September 10.
It contains many of the show's classic moments as well as some rows and discussions never seen.
The audition tapes include a surprising contribution from sensible housemate Elizabeth.
The spokeswoman says: "Elizabeth's is particularly shocking because it shows her running around a freezing cold beach in Scotland and diving into the sea. It shows a very different side to her than what we saw in the house."
