YouTube Kids has launched on Virgin Media's Virgin TV 360 platform, giving parents greater control over what their children watch online.
The app allows users to access a wide range of age-appropriate content, with parents able to choose the age-category which applies to their child; Preschool (4 and under), Younger (5-8), and Older (8-12).
The content covers a number of genres popular with children, including their favourite shows, music, and gaming.
The app, which can now be set up on a Virgin TV 360 set top box for ease of access, uses a mix of automated filters and human review and feedback to ensure the content available for the child to view is family friendly.
YouTube Kids can be installed on the Virgin TV 360 platform by going to the Apps section on the main menu where it is listed under 'Our Selection'.
