Pups in the Park is returning for its second event of the year, this time visiting Dublin's Marlay Park.

The event, in partnership with the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA), was also held earlier this year, with dogs and their owners enjoying the surrounds of Malahide Castle.

A host of dog-friendly activities will be on offer at the event's latest instalment - taking place on September 10th and 11th - including the Regatta Great Dog Walk, the Crave Obedience Ring, and the Chin-Wag talk Stage where owners and their pets can learn some top tips and tricks.

Singer Jack Carter will act as host at the Leader Main Arena, while pet experts Peter Wedderburn, Rob Walshe, Bobby Ortiz, and many more will be on hand to offer advice on dog care and training.

Renewing their partnership with Pups in the Park, the DSPCA will also host a dog show and 'Sniffari', as well as an adoption parade where potential owners can get the chance to meet dogs in the charity's care who are looking for their forever home.

The DSPCA's Suzanne McGovern said the charity is delighted to be returning to Pups in the Park, as the event "will not only promote the work of the charity but also help to raise vital funds as part of a great day out".

Further information and ticket details can be found on the Pups in the Park website.
