US medical devices firm to announce 200 jobs

Taoiseach Enda Kenny will formally announce up to 200 new jobs at a US medical devices company in Galway this morning.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny will formally announce up to 200 new jobs at a US medical devices company in Galway this morning.

Multinational Merit Medical, based in the city, already employs more than 350 people.

The company makes guidewires and other devices used in interventional and diagnostic procedures in hospitals around the world.
