Three people have been arrested as part of an investigation into drug intimidation in Athlone on Tuesday.
A woman in her 60s, a man in his 20s, and a teenage boy were arrested.
They were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 in a Garda Station in the Meath Westmeath Division.
They have since been charged and will appear before Longford District Court on Tuesday afternoon.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
