The crash happened around 10pm and the men were taken to Beaumont Hospital.
The driver, in his 30s, is said to be in critical condition, while the two other men, one in his 20s, one in his 30s, are also receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

The road was closed for examination by gardaí, but has since been reopened.
