Ninth person charged in Northern Ireland connected to New IRA

A ninth person has been charged in the North in connection with the activities of the New IRA.

A 49 year old man from the Dungannon area has been charged with membership of a proscribed organisation, directing terrorism and two separate charges of preparatory acts of terrorism.

The PSNI says he is due to appear at Laganside Court tomorrow as part of Operation Arbacia.
