The Oireachtas Finance Committee is concluding its series of meetings on mortgage arrears today.
The focus of today's hearing will be oversight, to ensure the banks are fulfilling their duties on home loans in default.
The Director of the Insolvency Service of Ireland Lorcan O'Connor and Governor of the Central Bank, Patrick Honohan will come before the committee.
Deputy Ciaran Lynch is Chairman of the Oireachtas Finance Committee:
The committee has been meeting [with banks] to see how they're actually meeting those targets"
Today, what we'll be doing in seeing how the Insolvency [Service] is actually integrating itself into the mortgage crisis as we move to more resolutions being put in place."
He said the meeting with Governor Honohan would primarily be about the level of oversight exercised.
