Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s in Co Tipperary as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the south-east.

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s in Co Tipperary as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the south-east.

Twelve people were initially detained by gardai in Kilkenny, Tipperary and Waterford yesterday following a number of raids at different premises under 'Operation Muster'.

Gardaí recovered jewellery and electronics.

Two people were released without charge last night, while two other men were arrested on warrant and transferred to prison.

Today, two men and and a woman - all aged in their 20s - have been released without charge and a file will be sent to the DPP.

Six people remain in garda custody.
