A man has been arrested after cocaine and cannabis were seized by gardaí in Galway.
Approximately €56,000 of suspected cocaine and €1,800 of suspected cannabis was seized on Sunday night in the Castlepark area of the city.
The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene. He is currently being detained at a Garda station in Galway under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Gardaí say investigations are currently ongoing.
