A man in his 20s was seriously injured after a collision between an e-scooter and a taxi on Thursday morning.
Part of the south quays, between Merchants Quay and Heuston Station, had been shut off earlier.
It led to traffic chaos along the south quays, a very busy commuter corridor. However, after around 8:30am this morning, the road was reopened.
UPDATE: This road has now re-opened for use. https://t.co/DLiEylziuR
