The south quays in Dublin have reopened to traffic this morning after a serious collision caused major disruption.

A man in his 20s was seriously injured after a collision between an e-scooter and a taxi on Thursday morning.

Part of the south quays, between Merchants Quay and Heuston Station, had been shut off earlier.

It led to traffic chaos along the south quays, a very busy commuter corridor. However, after around 8:30am this morning, the road was reopened.
