482 patients are without a bed in Irish hospitals on Friday, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).
345 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 137 are in wards elsewhere in hospitals.

The hospital with the highest number of patients without a bed is University Hospital Limerick with 97 people on trolleys.
38 people are in the emergency department, while there are 59 people elsewhere in the hospital.
At Cork University Hospital, there are 46 people without a bed, with 37 people in the emergency department.
At University Hospital Galway, there are 43 people on trolleys, with 33 people in the emergency department.
