Gardaí have today released the name of a man killed in a three-car crash in Co Tipperary.

Gardaí have today released the name of a man killed in a three-car crash in Co Tipperary.

D.J. Meehan, 44, from Clonoulty in Cashel was the driver of a car which was invoiced in an accident with another car and a 4X4 jeep at Ballinattin, Rosegreen, Co Tipperary.

The crash happened at around 2.45pm yesterday afternoon.

The driver and passenger of the jeep, who are both men, are in a serious condition in South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel.

The driver of the other car involved was not injured in the crash.
