Gardaí in Louth are investigating all the circumstances around the discovery of a body in Dundalk yesterday evening.
A woman was found in unexplained circumstances at a house on Bridge Street.
The scene is closed, and post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the course of the Garda investigation.
