Gardaí are investigating a suspected incident of arson in west Dublin.
The incident took place at about 5am on Monday at a residence in the Aylmer Drive area of Newcastle, Co Dublin.
Four people were evacuated and taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The scene is currently preserved for technical examination and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
