Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a delivery van was stolen in Limerick on Wednesday morning.

The van was recovered by gardaí a short time later, in the Shelbourne Mews area of Limerick City. A number of items were stolen from the van.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the North Circular Road / Shelbourne Mews areas between 8.30am and 9.15am on Wednesday 20th December are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
