Approximately €3.85 million worth of suspected cocaine has been seized following an operation at Ringaskiddy Port in Co Cork.
The drugs, weighing 55kg, were seized by Revenue officers on Friday, having been found concealed in the refrigeration unit of a maritime container which originated in Ecuador.
Gardaí said investigations into the matter are ongoing.
