Gardaí in Store Street have seized €140,000 worth of suspected cannabis herb along with suspected stolen property with an approximate value of €30,000 following a search at a residence in Dublin 7, yesterday.

At approximately 5pm yesterday afternoon, a search warrant was executed at a location in the Stoneybatter area. Gardaí discovered cannabis herb believed to be valued at €140,000 (pending analysis).

Gardaí also seized 200 individual items which included clothing, electrical goods and cosmetics. These items are believed to be stolen property and have an approximate value of €30,000.

Gardaí seized €30,000 worth of suspected stolen clothes, electrical goods and cosmetics.

One man (40s) has been arrested in connection with this seizure and is currently detained at Store Street Garda Station under Section 4 of Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Investigations are ongoing.
