Covid-19 in Ireland: How many confirmed cases in your county?

There have been more than 29,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far in the State and more than 1,700 people have died.

Dublin, Kildare, Tipperary, Carlow and Limerick are currently the five counties with the highest 14-day incidence rates for Covid-19 in the Republic.

All five have rates higher than 50 cases per 100,000 people over the last two weeks, up until midnight on September 1st.

Below you can see the cases and incidence rates recorded in each county in the fortnight up to September 1st.


Daily confirmed cases have been edging up again since July – after falling significantly from their April peak – as lockdown restrictions imposed in March were eased.

On Thursday, the Government said there had been 95 newly-confirmed cases.


While the number of new confirmed cases of coronavirus has been rising again recently, deaths have continued to fall since a peak in mid-April.

No new deaths were confirmed in the Department of Health's latest update on the coronavirus situation on Thursday.
