It comes as the Luas operator Transdev has launched it's summer safety campaign - Think Twice, Look Twice.
The head of safety Eoin Colleran says the slogan is something you teach a child when they are learning to cross the road:
"It is about going back to basics really and when you are teaching your children how to cross the road it is exactly the same: Stop, Look, Listen. It sounds very simple but it's not."
