The 16-year-old girl who died in a car crash in Co Waterford was a back-seat passenger.
She was taken to University Hospital Waterford after the car, a white Toyota Levin, struck a wall on Cliff Road, in Newtown, Tramore, last night.
No other vehicle was involved in the crash.
She passed away late last night. A post mortem will be arranged.
Two other passengers, a female and male, both aged 17, suffered serious injuries and were also removed to University Hospital Waterford.
Emergency crews had to cut the injured from the wreckage.
The male driver of the car received minor injuries and was also taken to University Hospital Waterford.
It is reported by the Independent that the two males were in the front of the car, with the two females in the back.
The car was towed away this morning.
