The Irish actor portrays US President Donald Trump in the series, which looks at his dealings with former FBI Director James Comey.
Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy and Michael Kelly also star in The Comey Rule. The series is based on A Higher Loyalty, a book written by former FBI director James Comey.
Comey was fired by the president while investigating possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at Gleeson as he transforms into Trump.
The two-part series airs in the United States on September 27th and it will be available on Sky TV in Ireland from September 30th.
