Cork's The Young Offenders have grown old disgracefully and are back with this hilarious charity promo sketch all in aid of the Cork Santa Cycle.
The event aims to raise money for Straight Ahead, a charity that funds orthopedic operations for children who otherwise would face long periods on waiting lists.
'The Old Offenders' are raising awareness as well as spreading the word about the upcoming event on Sunday, December 2.
Connie Wiseman who plays the old offender in the blue tracksuit revealed his hope for the video.
"It's all about building awareness around the waiting list So many kids are waiting so we hope this video gets people to sign up and do what they can," said Connie.
Cork's Lord Mayor Mick Finn and former Munster Doug Howlett even make a cameo in the video.
Scoliosis is defined as a sideways curvature of the spine, affecting any part.
Scoliosis affects about 1% of children and adolescents in Ireland. The condition can also affect adults. It causes an abnormal curve of the spine or backbone.
Connie hopes that the video will make people laugh and donate for a worthwhile cause.
"With Mike Foott behind the camera showcasing the best of Cork we just want people to laugh and sign up. It's all for a bit of craic," said Connie.
The 7.5km cycle will be setting off from outside Goldberg's pub, and following a route passe Victoria, City Centre, UCC, Mercy Hospital before heading back to Goldberg's once more.
