There are over 220 Lidl stores across Ireland, with each of them looking to spread the festive cheer as widely as possible in their local communities this Christmas. To do this, they need your help!
If you’re a child aged 12 or under, then Lidl want to hear from you about how they should make their new film, Lidl Presents – The Most Magical Christmas Movie Ever.
In 100 words or less, tell Lidl your idea for a movie that you believe could be the next Christmas classic. You can take this movie in any direction you want — as long as it packs in plenty of magic and at least one mention of Lidl.
Once all the submissions have been rounded up, the best parts of these pitches from children throughout Ireland will be cherry-picked and transformed into a three to five-minute short film by Lidl, in partnership with Foe.
Foe is an Irish production company with years of experience working with the nation’s top brands and making their creative ideas a reality in a unique yet innovative way. Together with Lidl, their expert crew will ensure your Christmas movie turns out an absolute showstopper — one that can go down in history just like a certain reindeer.
The finished movie will even list each and every child who enters their idea in the credits, giving you the opportunity to see your name on the big screen!
As if that won't have you feeling like enough of a movie star, however, Foe will also take you behind the scenes with an exciting Zoom call session where you can carry out a table read and get an exclusive look at the movie's script! Each child who enters their idea will be invited to this session.
What's more, submitting your movie pitch will also put you in the running to win a ticket for one of the VIP film screenings that Lidl are hosting in select cinemas nationwide to debut Lidl Presents — The Most Magical Christmas Movie Ever.
