Air passengers are being warned to check their flights after a day of disruption caused by thick fog in the UK.

Air passengers are being warned to check their flights after a day of disruption caused by thick fog in the UK.

Airports across England Scotland and Wales were affected - with 10% of flights at Heathrow cancelled.

Two incoming flights were also diverted from London.

The Met office have also issued a yellow weather warning for the UK and most of Wales.

Anyone intending to travel is advised to check with your airline.
