Study finds injection may help control HIV
A study has found HIV can effectively be controlled by a jab given every two months.
Scientists tested an injectable anti-retroviral therapy - which is made up of two drugs on nearly 300 patients.
They found it controlled the virus for the majority of them.
It could mean a new way of managing HIV, without needing to take pills every day.
