Security forces in Egypt are being condemned after dozens of people were reportedly killed in violent clashes in Cairo.
Supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood have said tonight that more than 70 people have lost their lives since violence began today on the streets of Cairo, some media reports put the figure closer to 120.
It comes following mass demonstrations against the new government, after the Brotherhood's democratically elected Morsi, who was deposed in a military coup last month.
It is believed Morsi remains under house arrest in the city.
Meanwhile the UK Foreign Secretary William Hague said today in a statement that he is "deeply concerned" by the violence.
