Russia says it has detained what it says are members of Islamic State who were planning attacks on Moscow and St Petersburg.

Russian security services say seven people were stopped in the country's fourth largest city, Yekaterinburg.

It is claimed they had planned to flee to Syria after committing terrorist attacks.
