Palestinian-American teen under house arrest after 'police beating'
A Palestinian-American teenager who was filmed apparently being beaten by Israeli forces is to be put under house arrest for nine days.
Tariq Abu Khadeir, 15, who is of American descent, was severely injured during the incident.

Police released him from custody this afternoon. When asked if he knew who attacked him, he said: “No. I think it was the police.”
His mother said that the family plan to return to the US this month.

The United States says it is "profoundly troubled" by the video.
He is a cousin of 16-year-old Palestinian Mohammed Abu Khdeir, who was seized from his home in east Jerusalem. His burned body was later found in a forest.
An Israeli official said a number of Jewish suspects were arrested over the killing of the Palestinian teenager.
Investigators said the killing was driven by “nationalistic” motives. There were no further details on the identities of the suspects.
Palestinians say Israeli extremists killed the teenager to avenge the deaths of the three Israelis.
The killing sparked violent clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces earlier this week.
Protests spread yesterday from Jerusalem to Arab towns in northern Israel, with hundreds of people throwing rocks and firebombs at officers who responded with tear gas and stun grenades, according to Israeli police.
Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said police had arrested 22 Arab Israelis in clashes with Israeli police.
Tariq was among the protesters, but his parents insist he was an innocent bystander.
