Naked man crashes through airport ceiling and attacks pensioner
An elderly man is seriously ill after being attacked by a naked man who crashed through a ceiling at a US airport.
Police said they did not yet have a motive for the bizarre attack on the 84-year-old man in Terminal C of Boston’s Logan Airport.
Cameron Shenk, 26, has been held on suspicion of offences including attempted murder, mayhem, assault and battery on a person over 60 and committing a lewd and lascivious act.
Police said Shenk, who stripped inside a ladies toilet before climbing into the dropped ceiling and launching the attack, struggled with troopers who arrested him. One officer was hurt.
Shenk was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment and police say he will be booked upon release to appear at East Boston District Court.
