Knox and Sollecito to learn today if murder convictions are upheld

Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito are expected to learn today at Italy's highest court if their convictions for the murder of British student Meredith Kercher are upheld.

The 21-year-old was stabbed to death in 2007 while studying in Perugia.

Her flatmate Knox, a student from Seattle, and her then-boyfriend spent four years in jail but were acquitted on appeal in 2011.

Knox returned to the US before an appeals court reinstated the guilty verdicts last year.
