A rare Ferrari worth £400,000 (€460,000) has been stolen during a burglary in England.

Gloucestershire Police said the classic silver Ferrari 550, registration 4DCH, was stolen from the garage of property at Southrop, near Lechlade.

The burglary occurred sometime between August 18 and 8am on August 22.

A force spokeswoman said: "It is worth around £400,000 and thought to be of only one in four made.

"Anyone who has seen the vehicle should call police on 101 quoting incident 60 of August 22."
