Commemorations are being held to mark the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Constructed back in 1961, it marked the beginning of the Cold War and decades of division in Europe.
The following year, a second wall was built to stop Berliners trapped in the East from getting into the West.
However, it's believed some 5,000 people managed to get through the border but over 130 of them died trying.
The wall fell this day back in 1989 and Germany was reunified less than a year later.
