Campaign set up to counteract anti-Thatcher sentiments

A new campaign has started in the UK to get the song "I'm in love with Margaret Thatcher" into the charts.

It has been setup to counteract a different attempt by opponents of the former Prime Minister to get "Ding, Dong The Witch Is Dead" to number one.

Radio stations around the country are debating if they will play it.

Mark Biddess, an anti-Thatcher campaigner, believes that the song should be heard.

"It is sarcastic, it does have a twisted sense of humour to it, but actually if people feel they are getting their voice heard hopefully that’s enough for them."
