Boy falls from US rollercoaster
A boy has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a wooden rollercoaster at an amusement park in Pennsylvania.
The boy was on the ride with his brother when he fell, according to a spokesman for Idlewild and SoakZone amusement park near.
He was conscious when he was taken to hospital.
Park spokesman Jeff Croushore said he cannot say whether the ride malfunctioned.
The Rollo Coaster opened in 1938 and takes riders up, down and around a wooded hillside. It does not require seat belts.
The fall comes four days after a 10-year-old boy was decapitated as he rode a waterslide at a Kansas water park.
