Anti-smoking groups welcome award
Anti-smoking groups are welcoming a record-breaking award to damages to an ex-smoker.
Betty Bullok from Los Angeles has been awarded over €25bn.
The 64-year-old, who now has cancer, argued the Philip Morris Tobacco firm concealed the dangers of cigarettes with a "misinformation campaign" in the 1950’s.
