Two points between Leicester and title after draw with Manchester United

Ten-man Leicester's title celebrations were put on hold for another day at least after a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford left them needing just two points to lift the Premier League trophy.

However, should second-placed Tottenham fail to beat Chelsea on Monday night then the Foxes will be crowned champions with two matches to spare and next Saturday's final home match against Everton will see the celebrations begin in earnest at the King Power Stadium.

Anthony Martial's 15th goal of the season gave United an eighth-minute goal but the resilient Foxes soon bounced back with Wes Morgan heading home Danny Drinkwater's free-kick.

Four minutes from time Drinkwater was sent off for a second bookable offence after pulling back Memphis Depay.

Swansea secured their Premier League status as a weakened Liverpool side suffered a 3-1 defeat before their European showdown with Villarreal.

Andre Ayew's brace took him into double figures for the season and Jack Cork added a beauty as Swansea, 2-0 ahead at the interval, ended a run of five straight defeats to Liverpool and claimed four successive top-flight home wins for the first time since 1982.

Christian Benteke, on as a substitute, gave Liverpool hope with his ninth goal of season, but defender Brad Smith's dismissal 14 minutes from time for two bookable offences ended the comeback.
