Rangers take a two-goal lead to Montenegro next week in the second leg of the Champions League second round qualifier after an incident-packed encounter with FK Zeta at Ibrox.

After Kris Boyd had hit the post in seven seconds and missed a second-half sitter, David Weir put the home side ahead in the 55th minute with a hopeful lob from 30 yards.

Rangers right-back Alan Hutton was then sent off after receiving two yellow cards, before Lee McCulloch headed in number two in the 73rd minute from Barry Ferguson’s free-kick.
