Paul Merson was so upset by Arsenal’s poor performance last night he had to invent a new word to describe them.

The pundit and former Arsenal player was speaking on Sky Sports after Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

He described the London side as being “a gillion miles away” from challenging for trophies.

And in case anyone thought they had misheard, he then repeated the phrase.
