Having come through Saturday’s 30-3 victory over Edinburgh unscathed, internationals Simon Zebo and Donnacha Ryan represent Munster head coach Rob Penney’s biggest injury concerns.

Zebo was forced off just 10 minutes into Ireland’s defeat to England in the Aviva Stadium on Sunday with a broken bone in his foot which looks set to keep him sidelined for 10 weeks.

Lock Donnacha Ryan is one of several players who shipped knocks in the bruising international encounter and was replaced by Dunncha O’Callaghan on 66 minutes.

There is some positive news for Munster on the injury front however, with Stephen Archer, Barry O'Mahony and Sean Scanlon in line to return to full training tomorrow ahead of Saturday’s meeting with the Scarlets.

It is a little soon at this stage to know if Archer will be in contention for a seat on the flight to Wales this weekend, but O'Mahony and Scanlon should be in consideration for selection.

Niall Ronan is expected to take a limited part in squad training this week while Doug Howlett and Felix Jones - both of whom underwent minor knee surgery recently - are on course for a return to action sometime towards the end of the month.
