A video profile of Limerick Minor captain Cian Lynch gives an insight into the life of a teenager preparing for an All-Ireland final.
Cian will lead his county onto the field in Croke Park on Sunday, to face Kilkenny in the Minor hurling final.
Totally dedicated, he gives his all in training and preparation with both club and county.
But, as the video from Minor sponsors Electric Ireland shows, he is also still a teenager with schoolwork, a part-time job and a debs to attend.
Cian’s father, Sean Lynch, summed up the mind-set that they bring to the sport and the commitment involved.
“When you’re playing at the highest level it’s great,” said Lynch.
“You make sacrifices but you love making those sacrifices, you’re making them for the right reasons.”
